− Thrilled to have three of my new drawings as part of Contemporary Master Drawings presented by Cade Tompkins Projects in

    Providence, RI. Opening Reception April 6th from 6-8pm and on view by appointment through April 28th, 2018


− Five of Max's sculptures have been selected to be part of On & On: Art Without End, curated by Elizabeth Keithline and presented in

    its second debut at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Opening Reception January 25th 6-8pm and up through February 23, 2018


− Three of Max's sculptures will be on view as part of Master Drawings New York 2018, presented by Cade Tompkins Projects and

    exhibiting at Victoria Munroe Fine Art, January 27 - February 3rd, 2018. Open daily from 11am-6pm


− Max's solo show, Locater, is set to open October 10th, 2017 at the University of Rhode Island Main Gallery and will run through

    November 10th. There will be a public reception from 3:45-5pm on Thursday October 12th. Hours are Monday through Friday 12-4pm

    and by appointment.


  − Opening September 8th from 6-8pm at Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA, Max will be in a two person exhibition extending

     through Oct 13th, 2016. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 10 am–4 pm and Saturdays 1–4 pm


  − Very excited to share an exhibition with Lisa Perez of new work at Roger Williams University, April 6-27 in Bristol, RI. The

     SAAHP Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm or stop by for the public reception at 6:45pm on April 15th


  − Tremendously honored to be giving the bi-annual Alumni Lecture for the Department of Studio Art at Dartmouth College on Feb 25th


  − Two of Max's paintings and a sculpture were recently acquired for the permanent collection of the new Wardman Tower in Washington,

     DC, designed by the NYC-based architecture firm, Deborah Berke Partners

  − Max's work will be featured as part of this year's curriculum for Free Arts NYC, helping inspire youth in New York City after-school

     programs to create and install wire and mixed media sculptures that transform the spaces around them


  − Max's second solo show in New York, “Cross Currents,” opens at Deborah Berke Partners on June 5th and will run through August 31st,
